The 2018 KCSE exams will use the following grading system.

Geography            76%                                  A

Kiswahili               78%                                  A

CRE                        90%                                 A

Absent candidates mean grade X 

Some subjects canceled mean Y 

KCSE Entry requirements not met mean U

Exam results are withheld mean W.
